Abstract : The booming development of intelligent building complexes has brought great convenience to people's lives, work, and production. However, due to inadequate property management and infrastructure configuration, there are also some troublesome issues, one of which is the instability of the water supply system. This paper addresses the problems existing in the water supply system and discusses a monitoring system that meets user needs while being energy-efficient. Engineering practice experience shows that by combining variable frequency speed regulation with intelligent control technology, optimized control can be achieved, the system has stronger robustness, better control quality, and is more energy-efficient. Keywords : Intelligent building complex, variable frequency drive, water supply pump station monitoring system 1 Introduction In recent years, intelligent building complexes have flourished in large cities, especially in some high-tech and economic development zones, where high-rise buildings are common and generally have a high degree of intelligence, creating excellent conditions for people's lives, work, and production. However, there are also some shortcomings, namely, the infrastructure construction and property management cannot meet the growing needs, one of which is the water supply system. The development of intelligent building complexes often integrates living, working, and production in a specific area. As the buildings increase in height, the problem of water supply for production and daily life becomes increasingly prominent. In infrastructure construction, emphasis is often placed on hardware, such as pipeline construction and water supply pump station hardware, while software functionality is often neglected, leaving some regrets. In modern water supply pump stations, frequency converters are widely used for energy conservation, creating favorable conditions for improving control quality. This article discusses related issues from the perspectives of monitoring and management, based on engineering practice. 2 Characteristics of the Controlled Object and Problems and Control Objectives 2.1 Object Characteristics For a specific object, the most prominent characteristic of user water use is randomness: which user uses water? How much water? When does the water use, etc. From a macroscopic perspective, the characteristics of the controlled object in a water supply system are mainly reflected in the following aspects: For details, please click: Intelligent Building Cluster Water Supply Pump Station Monitoring System
