Abstract : This paper analyzes the main causes of inverter failures, the impact of inverters on peripheral equipment, and fault prevention, and discusses the maintenance and upkeep of inverters. Keywords : Inverter; Fault analysis; Maintenance 1. Analysis of the Main Causes of Inverter Failures 1.1 External Electromagnetic Interference If there are interference sources around the inverter, they will penetrate into the inverter's interior through radiation or power lines, causing control circuit malfunctions, resulting in abnormal operation or shutdown, and in severe cases, even damage to the inverter. The following measures are specific methods to mitigate noise interference: ① All relays and contactors around the inverter should be equipped with surge voltage absorption devices, such as RC absorbers. ② Circuits designated to use shielded wires must be installed according to regulations. If the line is long, a reasonable relay method should be used. ③ Minimize the wiring distance of the control circuit and separate it from the main line. ④ The inverter grounding terminal should be installed according to regulations and should not be mixed with welding or power grounding. ⑤ Install a noise filter at the inverter input terminal to avoid interference introduced by the power supply line. 1.2 Installation Environment Inverters are electronic devices, and their user manuals detail the requirements for their installation and operating environment.
