Abstract : This paper discusses the main structure and characteristics of a three-axis CNC loading and unloading robot, the composition and function of its computer control system, and points out its broad application prospects. Keywords : robot, computer control. A robot is an automated device used in automated production processes that has the function of gripping and moving workpieces. With the continuous development of automatic control technology, the research and application of robots are also constantly being updated. Currently, it has become an important component of Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS) and Flexible Manufacturing Cells (FMC). Combining machine tools and robots to form a flexible processing system or flexible manufacturing cell is suitable for medium and small batch production. It can save on bulky workpiece conveying devices, has a compact structure, and is highly adaptable. When workpieces change, the flexible production system can be easily modified. This is beneficial for enterprises to continuously update marketable varieties, improve product quality, and better adapt to the needs of market competition. The three-axis CNC loading and unloading robot we developed is the first supporting equipment in China's independently developed flexible processing unit for sheet metal bending. It is a high-performance robot. It mainly completes functions such as picking up, feeding, rotating the billet, and unloading.
