Abstract : This paper introduces the structure and working principle of a wheel runout testing machine, presents the electrical measurement principle block diagram and software program block diagram, and theoretically analyzes various factors affecting the measurement accuracy of the entire machine . I. Introduction Currently, no domestic manufacturer has produced or developed a complete testing device for radial and lateral runout testing of tubeless wheels for light vehicles, cars, and trucks. Many wheel manufacturers only use ordinary dial indicators to perform rough spot checks on the axial and radial runout of multiple wheels, requiring more than ten minutes to test one part. This is far from meeting the needs of mass production. Therefore, we developed a "wheel runout testing machine," which can be used to test the radial and lateral runout of tubeless wheels of various models. Testing one wheel only takes about 40 seconds, greatly shortening the manufacturing cycle of factories and playing a significant role in accelerating the development of China's automotive industry, especially the localization of passenger car production.
