A good result is achieved after using the system in coal mine by flexible configuration. Keywords : fieldbus; PROFIBUS; electric control system of hoist 1. Introduction to PROFIBUS The electric control system of hoist plays an important role in mine production. With the development of China's coal mining industry, the electric control system of mine hoist is required to have high efficiency and excellent technical characteristics such as reliability and safety. Currently, most domestically produced hoist electrical control systems (process control, stroke control, braking control, transmission control, system monitoring and protection, etc.) use one-to-one signal communication between their components and with the host computer. This requires a large number of control cables, is unsuitable for the mine working environment, has a small data transmission capacity, requires a large amount of maintenance, and makes it difficult to achieve automated control. PROFIBUS (Process Fieldbus) is an international, open fieldbus widely used worldwide. PROFIBUS-DP is an optimized high-speed communication connection designed specifically for communication between automatic control systems and distributed I/O devices. It is used for high-speed data transmission in distributed control systems, with a transmission rate of up to 12 Mbit/s, and typically forms a single master station system. PROFIBUS-FMS mainly solves general communication tasks at the workshop level, providing a large number of communication services and completing medium-speed cyclic and non-cyclic communication tasks. It is used in general automation control in industries such as textiles, building automation, electrical drives, sensors and actuators, programmable logic controllers, and low-voltage switchgear. PROFIBUS-PA is designed specifically for process automation, providing standard intrinsically safe transmission technology for applications with high safety requirements and bus-powered stations. FMS and DP can generally be used in combination. PROFIBUS defines the technical characteristics of a serial fieldbus system. A serial fieldbus enables distributed digital programmable controllers to be networked from the field level to the unit level. PROFIBUS is a multi-master system that allows several automation, engineering, or visualization systems with their own distributed peripherals to operate jointly on a single bus. Device types in a PROFIBUS system can be divided into masters (controllers, operator panels, etc.) and slaves (peripheral devices).
