Abstract : This article makes a preliminary summary of the installation and commissioning of frequency converters, and points out some precautions and possible problems. Our factory's alumina energy-saving technology transformation project added nearly 100 frequency converters. Including the frequency converters in use, the factory has more than 300 frequency converters. To give full play to the advantages of frequency converters in energy saving and speed regulation, proper installation and commissioning are particularly important. [b]1 Precautions for frequency converter installation 1.1 Installation environment[/b] (1) In the case of a large vibration and impact, vibration damping measures such as rubber should be taken. (2) Moisture, corrosive gases and dust will cause electronic devices to rust, have poor contact, and reduce insulation, resulting in short circuits. As a preventive measure, the control board should be dustproofed and a closed structure should be used as much as possible. (3) Temperature is an important factor affecting the life and reliability of electronic devices, especially semiconductor devices. If the temperature exceeds the specified value, it will immediately cause device damage. Therefore, air conditioning should be installed according to the environmental conditions required by the device or direct sunlight should be avoided. In addition to the three points mentioned above, regularly checking the inverter's air filter and cooling fan is also essential.
