Immune PID permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control

Abstract: This paper proposes the control strategy of an immune PID controller to realize the speed control of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). It introduces the principle of vector control and gives the simulation results. Simulation research and real-time control results show that the system has high dynamic performance. Key words : PMSM; vector control; immune PID controller 1 Introduction The three-phase permanent magnet synchronous servo motor is developed from the wound-rotor synchronous servo motor. It replaces the wound-rotor with a permanent magnet rotor with strong anti-demagnetization, and has the characteristics of small size, light weight, low inertia, high efficiency and no rotor heat generation problem. Therefore, once it appeared, it was widely used in high-performance servo systems, such as industrial robots, CNC machine tools, flexible manufacturing systems and various automated equipment [1]. Traditional PMSM systems use PID control with speed loop and current loop, but in situations where the load fluctuates greatly or the speed and torque control accuracy is high, traditional PID control is difficult to meet the requirements. [2] This paper proposes to use the immune PID control method to improve the dynamic performance of PMSM and enhance its anti-interference ability. 2 PMSM Vector Control Principle Vector control is to analyze the AC motor as the same as the DC motor. Based on the most basic principle that the product of the magnetic field and its orthogonal current is the torque, the stator current of the motor is theoretically decomposed into two orthogonal vectors: the excitation component that establishes the magnetic field and the torque component that generates the torque. Then, they are controlled separately, hence the name vector control. It is based on the dynamic mathematical model of the motor. By controlling the amplitude and phase of the stator current of the AC motor, the torque current and excitation current of the motor are controlled separately.
