Abstract : This paper discusses the basic model of a radar servo system, the algorithm for PID control, and the discretization method. A preliminary discussion of sampling methods is given, leading to further discussion of computer control processing methods. Keywords : Radar servo system , PID control, discretization, computer control I. Model of the Radar Servo System The servo system is the actuator that enables radar to track targets. It consists of a servo motor, a thyristor (SCR), a tachometer motor, and a PID correction network, as shown in Figure 1. When the motor angular velocity is the output signal, its model is a second-order inertial element.
