Abstract : This paper briefly discusses the servo control issues related to winding equipment and presents the design and implementation method of a precision winding machine control system using the MINASA series AC servo system. The developed precision winding machine has high control accuracy and stability, and its cost performance is significantly higher than that of similar imported equipment. Keywords : Servo system, computer, stepper motor 1 Introduction Winding equipment is widely used in the textile industry, rubber industry, synchronous belts, agricultural hoses, and other production fields. For example, V-belts used in automobiles, high-performance V-belts, and agricultural hoses must have cords wound in the rubber to increase strength; plastic hoses used in vacuum cleaners (industrial use) also require thin steel wires wound in the plastic. The uniformity of winding directly affects the quality of the product, and the winding quality of winding equipment mainly depends on the control accuracy of its control part. Currently, ordinary CNC equipment still uses stepper system control, while high-precision control equipment has widely adopted servo control. The following is a simple comparison of the two control methods: 1.1 Stepper Motor Control Stepper motor control is an open-loop system, as shown in Figure 1. Zero drift, temperature drift, and input interference within the drive amplifier directly affect the control accuracy of the stepper motor after being amplified.
