Rapidly developing CNC technology

1. What is CNC Technology? Numerical control (NC) is the process of converting the requirements of the machined parts, such as shape and size, into numerical data instructions, which are then transmitted to an electronic control device. This device controls and drives the movement of the machine tool to produce the parts. Traditional manual machining requires human operation of the machine, making it difficult to meet the machining requirements of complex parts. This is especially true for multi-variety, low-batch parts, resulting in low efficiency and poor precision. CNC machine tools are mechatronic products formed by the penetration of new technologies, represented by CNC systems, into the traditional machinery manufacturing industry. Their technology covers many fields: ① Mechanical manufacturing technology. ② Information processing, processing, and transmission technology. ③ Automatic control technology. ④ Servo drive technology. ⑤ Sensor technology. ⑥ Software technology, etc. The penetration of computers into the traditional machinery manufacturing industry has completely changed manufacturing. Manufacturing has not only become a symbol of industrialization, but also, due to the penetration of information technology, has become a "sunrise industry" with vast development potential. NC technology has been around for nearly 50 years since its invention. The development of electronic devices can be divided into five stages: vacuum tube CNC, transistor CNC, small- and medium-scale integrated circuit CNC, minicomputer CNC, and microprocessor CNC. From the perspective of system architecture, CNC can be divided into hard CNC systems composed of hardware and wiring, and CNC systems composed of computer hardware and software (also known as soft CNC systems). From the perspective of servo and control methods, CNC can be further divided into open-loop systems driven by stepper motors and closed-loop systems driven by servo motors. Machine tools equipped with NC systems greatly improve the accuracy, speed, and efficiency of machining parts. [Full text download of the rapidly developing CNC technology]
