Abstract : With the increasingly widespread application of various embedded devices, the demand for mobile storage is also becoming increasingly urgent. Meanwhile, due to the widespread use of USB interfaces, USB high-capacity storage devices have become the mainstream of mobile storage. The ISP1160 is a USB Host Controller chip produced by Philips, which conforms to the USB 2.0 specification and supports full-speed (12Mbit/s) data transfer mode. This paper introduces a solution for implementing an embedded file system on a USB flash drive using this chip in the Fujitsu MB86H20B digital TV solution. This paper starts with the principle of the embedded file system, introducing the implementation of the three major functional modules: the underlying hardware interface, the USB host protocol stack, and the file system. The principle and implementation process of the file system are highlighted. Test results show that the system performance fully meets the design requirements. Introduction In recent years, with the rise of digital cameras, scanners, camera phones, and other digital devices, digital photos have become an indispensable part of people's lives. Digital photo frames, as an emerging display medium, are rapidly gaining popularity in households due to their large photo storage capacity, excellent display quality, and diverse functions. With the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television promoting television digitization, digital television is being rolled out nationwide. This project is based on these two considerations, developing a product that integrates digital photo frames and digital television. A key issue in the development of this product was expanding the external storage functionality of the MB86H20B digital television platform. The embedded file system solution based on uCOS-II mentioned in this paper effectively solves this problem.
