Abstract : The software structure of CNC service systems is becoming more modular and transparent; the functions of CNC service systems are becoming more intelligent; CNC service systems are gradually being connected to other control systems via networks to achieve remote control and remote maintenance. This paper proposes a (B/S) architecture based on the MVC design pattern for CNC service systems, analyzes the functions and workflow of a Web-based CNC service system, introduces the system structure, the Java-based software support technology used in the server, and the database technology used in the system, providing technical support for building a prototype system and laying the foundation for truly networked CNC machining. Keywords : CNC service system, browser/server, network, database 1. Introduction With the rapid development of network technology and advanced manufacturing technology, CNC service systems, as an important component of manufacturing units, are also undergoing profound changes. In today's rapidly developing information technology and computer network technology, the traditional manufacturing model with relatively fixed organizational structures, relatively concentrated manufacturing resources, and a product-oriented approach is no longer suitable. This necessitates CNC systems possessing excellent flexibility and versatility, making an open architecture an inevitable trend in the modularization, platformization, tooling, and standardization of CNC systems. In networked manufacturing, many functions of current CNC service systems, except for real-time control, will inevitably be performed remotely in the future. In other words, with the networked development of CNC technology, the CNC system of each piece of manufacturing equipment in the field will become a simple execution unit within the entire networked manufacturing environment. It will obtain the necessary CNC service functions through network connections, enabling remote monitoring and service, collection of remote processing information, and fault diagnosis, thereby improving the resource utilization rate of the CNC system.
