■KDN servo drive supports external encoder applications
In practical applications, due to the slippage of the mechanical parts, an external encoder must be used to measure the actual length in order to ensure cutting accuracy.
The KDN servo system supports various encoder types, including Tamagawa serial, Panasonic serial, Nikon serial, Heidenhain Endat 2.1/2.2, SICK DSL, and 2-pole/multi-pole resolvers.
The KDN servo system supports Z-phase capture of external encoders and can read them via PDO.
■ Excellent low-speed performance.
Under certain operating conditions, extremely slow motor speeds are required. We have used a speed of 1 revolution per hour under load.
