At the 2018 SPS trade fair, the XPlanar planar magnetic levitation conveyor system was showcased as a groundbreaking innovation at Beckhoff's booth. In the two years that followed, this automated product, composed of a non-contact, freely levitating mover, received a positive market response.
The XPlanar planar magnetic levitation transport system now supports movers of different specifications and can automatically detect movers even if they are removed during operation.
Different sized movers can support products of different specifications, giving users a variety of choices.
The newly added trajectory management function allows for the simultaneous use of multiple trajectory routes, or their separate use. The movers can also be mechanically connected together.
* Can achieve ±15° tilt
The mover can move freely on a two-dimensional plane. Due to the non-contact driving principle, the freely suspended mover will not generate noise and will not experience any mechanical wear.
The 360° rotating actuator provides greater flexibility.
The real key is that cool technology can be put into practical application. Currently, our technology has been applied in many industries.
* Applications of XPlanar in Plasma Processing Devices
In a recent interview, Beckhoff founder Hans Beckhoff revealed an unexpected new application scenario for XPlanar .
