After restoring the inverter to factory settings, press the "RUN" button. The inverter will drive the motor in the forward direction. If the rotation direction is opposite to the direction required by the equipment, please turn off F0-13=1 or disconnect the power (make sure the main capacitor of the inverter has discharged its charge) and swap any two of the UVW output lines of the inverter to eliminate the problem of rotation direction.
In some drive systems, only forward rotation is allowed and reverse rotation is not allowed. In this case, F0-13=2 is required. If a reverse command is issued, the inverter will decelerate to 0 and enter a stop state. At the same time, FWD/REV on the control panel will keep flashing.
The logic is shown in the diagram below.
For applications where motor reverse rotation is not permitted, do not attempt to change the direction of rotation by modifying function codes, as restoring factory settings will reset the aforementioned two function codes. In this case, function 50 of the digital input terminal DI can be used to disable reverse rotation.
