Abstract : This paper mainly introduces the application of PLC in domestic high-voltage high-power frequency converters, and realizes PID closed-loop control of high-voltage high-power frequency converters through the special function modules of PLC.

1 Introduction
In the design of domestically produced high-voltage frequency converters, a PLC is typically integrated to improve the flexibility of internal control and the scalability for field applications. Since the invention of the first PLC in the 1970s, its applications have become increasingly widespread and its functions increasingly sophisticated. Besides powerful logic control, PLCs also offer extended functions such as A/D and D/A conversion, PID closed-loop control, high-speed counting, communication networking, interrupt control, and special function calculations. Furthermore, they can be displayed, alarmed, recorded, and interact with via a host computer, significantly enhancing their control capabilities. This paper takes the ZINVERT-H800/B10 domestically produced high-voltage frequency converter designed and manufactured by Guangzhou Zhiguang Motor Co., Ltd. for the wastewater treatment plant of Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group Chengdu Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. as an example to introduce the application of Mitsubishi PLCs in the high-voltage frequency converter control system.
2. Introduction to Guangzhou Zhiguang Motor High Voltage Frequency Converter
